I’ve always been sensitive, ever since childhood.
I can vividly remember feeling emotions so deeply, not just my own but those of others, even when they hadn’t spoken a word. At the time, I thought this was simply how everyone experienced the world.
As a child, I also began hearing spirit. I didn’t see them, but I felt their presence and guidance. I had many out-of-body experiences, flying off to other realms, and yet I was never afraid. Those moments felt natural, as though I was being gently shown that there was more to life than what we see with our eyes.
At 18, when I moved to London, my true journey began. A kindred spirit at work invited me to join her at Wimbledon Spiritualist Church. That single decision changed the course of my life. Within months, I was sitting in circle, learning to connect with loved ones who had passed into spirit and discovering the gift of spiritual healing.

I felt an undeniable pull to help others. I devoured books on tarot, intuition, mediumship, and healing, and soon began offering readings myself. It felt like I had found what I was meant to do. I never stopped learning - classes, workshops, and events filled my life, and in the 1980s I was traveling around London and the Home Counties several times a week, sharing spirit’s messages.
Life, of course, brought its challenges.
I married, divorced, and became a single parent, which made it harder to travel. Spirit guided me to new opportunities: working in a metaphysical shop in Chiswick, then helping to launch a telephone psychic line. I trained hundreds of readers, ran development circles, and taught workshops on countless subjects. I even worked at corporate events and parties, bringing spirit into unexpected places.

Eventually, I needed more stability for my daughter, and both my parents were diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. I chose to be present for them, returning to a day job in the field of disability. Even then, I continued to offer readings from home, and I grew to love the balance of supporting people both spiritually and practically.
After some years, spirit made it clear they were ready for me to step forward again. My spirit team revealed themselves more strongly, teaching me about soul contracts, past lives, and guiding me back into teaching and writing.
With the gift of the internet, I’ve been able to connect with people all over the world, offering readings and courses that reach far beyond what I could have imagined in those early days.
Spirit has been my constant companion, and the work I do continues to fill me with gratitude, purpose, and joy.
